You can make a payment for the whole balance via any of the methods of our payment page. We will apply this to your account and send you a letter detailing that the debt is settled. We will then automatically update your credit file accordingly to reflect this.
Once you have paid your balance it will show on your credit file as ‘fully settled’.
‘Part settlement’ shows future lenders that you settled a debt for less than the full amount owed and may affect future applications for credit. A full settlement shows future lenders that you have paid the full amount owed which can improve your credit score.
Fresh Start can offer a number of affordable repayment options that will allow you to settle this debt in full, though this may take you longer.
